Summary

We are currently recruiting for a

Facility Security Officer to join the G4S team, working for a well known-site in

Scarborough.

Contract Information:

Pay Rate: £15.10 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 weeks per year, term time only

Shift Pattern: 07:00-18:00

SIA Licence: Door Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

Access & Reception:

- Meet and greet visitors at the right-hand side access door and manage access for contractors.

General Duties: General security, assist with deliveries, move furniture, carry out reactive cleaning or hazard clearing when cleaners are unavailable, and work collaboratively with the customer service manager and cleaning team.

Compliance Tasks & Inspections:

- Weekly fire alarm testing

- Fire extinguisher checks

- Disabled refuge and toilet alarm testing

- Lift alarm checks

- Sentinel temperature monitoring

- Water flushing

- Salto battery changes

Ad Hoc & Emergency Support:

- Respond to major incidents (e.g., floods) and support the customer service manager with emergency or ad hoc tasks as required.

What we're looking for:

- SIA Door Supervisor Licence

- Physically fit

- Ability to gain and retain full security clearance

- Experience Using Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel)

- Previous experience within a similar role (desirable)
