Summary

BBS Recruitment is an independent recruitment agency for transport and logistics sector, supplying to a variety of clients across UK.

We are currently recruiting a Carpenter our client based in Camden.

The Carpenter will have to undertake fire-related carpentry and remedial work and will be responsible for installing, repairing, upgrading and maintaining fire doors and associated fire protection systems, ensuring all works are completed to a high standard and in accordance with relevant British Standards and fire safety requirements.

Responsibilities for a Carpenter:

• Fit new fire doors and repair/upgrade existing doors and frames.

• Install electrical enclosures and fire-rated plasterboard.

• Carry out fire-stopping works.

• Ensure all work meets relevant British Standards and quality requirements.

• Maintain accurate records and complete minor administration.

• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships.
