Summary

To report any changes in the condition and/or circumstances of students to the college nurse. To assist the college nurse to undertake health promotion activities with individuals or Groups including parents/carers. Participate in audits as required. Observes own personal duty of care to equipment and resources. To take reasonable care for health and safety of yourself and other persons who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work and to co-operate with Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in adhering to the Statutory and Unit Safety Regulations. To comply with the following: a) Trust Policies and Procedures b) Health and Safety Regulations and Fire Regulations Undertake other duties commensurate with this grade of post in agreement with the relevant line manager. To minimize the Trusts environmental impact wherever possible, including recycling, switching off lights, computers, monitors and equipment when not in use. Helping to reduce paper waste by minimizing printing/copying and reducing water usage, reporting faults and heating/cooling concerns promptly and minimizing travel. Where the role includes the ordering and use of supplies or equipment the post holder will consider the environmental impact of purchases.
