The Best Connection Walsall is currently recruiting for a

Part-Time 7.5T Driver on behalf of our well-established logistics client.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and flexible driver looking for a mix of weekday and weekend work, with full training provided.

Pay Rate

£14.39 per hour ⏰

Overtime paid at time and a half after 37.5 hours worked

Working Schedule

Weekday Service Centre Deliveries

Two working days between Monday and Thursday (flexible to suit availability)

Start times of 8:00am or 9:00am

Occasional Friday shifts from 8:00am

Weekend Train Station Deliveries

Saturday: 3:00am to 11:30am

Sunday: 7:00am to 2:30pm

Duties Include

Safe loading and unloading of vehicles

Delivering carts, cages, and pallets to service centres throughout the UK

Train station collections and deliveries in Birmingham and Wolverhampton

Completing vehicle checks and maintaining delivery records

Working independently whilst providing excellent customer service

Full Training Provided

One-day induction programme

Approximately two weeks of practical training

Ongoing support until fully competent in train-loading activities

Requirements

✅ Valid UK 7.5T (C1) Licence

✅ Valid CPC Qualification Card

✅ Digital Tachograph Card

✅ Comfortable with early morning starts and weekend working

✅ Good communication and teamwork skills

✅ Physically fit and capable of loading and unloading vehicles

✅ Ability to work independently and take responsibility for daily tasks

✅ Successful completion of a driving assessment before starting
