Summary

We are are looking for a talented individual trained in Improvement methodology, a track record of process transformation delivery and who are adept using digital systems to join the QI team.

There is a huge opportunity for our Trust to transform the way we work and become more effective and efficient to achieve improved outcomes for our patients and help meet the challenges outlined in NHSE' 10 year plan.  Quality improvement methodologies and thinking way is a key part to realise these opportunities and so our Trust becomes fit for the future.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join a small, dynamic QI team within one of the largest NHS Trusts in England as part of its transformation Programme to support the delivery of significant change projects.

The Improvement Lead will work with the Digital and Operational transformation teams, together with Corporate Leads, CMG Transformation Leads, General Managers, Clinical Directors, Heads of Service , Service Managers and clinical teams to enable the process optimisation and benefits realisation of digital tools and systems.

This will typically involve deep process study using techniques such as process mapping, time and motion charts, demand and capacity studies, data collection and data visualisation to ensure we take appropriate improvement actions to develop our processes.

These activities will form part of the overall Trust strategy to develop and embed a culture of continuous Improvement.

Our new strategy, developed with the support and feedback of colleagues, patients, and partners, is our compass for the next seven years (2023-2030).

We have four primary goals:

• high-quality care for all,

• being a great place to work,

• partnerships for impact, and

• research and education excellence

And we will embed health equality in all we do - taking active steps to reduce the avoidable differences in healthcare that some people face, working in partnership with communities.

Our strategy is underpinned by new values and we will work to ensure they are an everyday reality for all:

• we are compassionate,

• we are proud,

• we are inclusive, and

• we are one team

This is an exciting moment as we look to the future with clarity on what we already do well and where we need to focus our energies to make an even bigger difference for the people we serve.
