I’m a lady looking for a kind, reliable and caring female to help me with some day-to-day tasks and personal care. I have difficulty walking and cannot stand for long periods, so I need a little extra support around the house. I would also like some friendly company and help to get out and about when possible. I enjoy football and would be happy to have someone who enjoys a friendly chat and keeping me company.

Job DescriptionAssisting with personal care.Meal preparation.Helping with occasional food shopping.Supporting me when going out.Other light household tasks as needed.Any other reasonable duties as requested.
Person specification
Essential:Female, due to the personal care involved.Kind, patient, trustworthy and reliable.Respectful of my privacy and confidentiality.A mature and responsible person.Desirable:Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.Flexibility in working hours to accommodate the individual's needs.A full driving licence would be preferred, as driving may sometimes be helpful.
Summary of terms and conditions
The pay rate for this position is £12.89 per hour for employed PAs and £15.55 per hour for self-employed PAs.Hours and times of work: 5 hours per week. Time discussed further at interview.The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.The post is subject to the following:A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.Satisfactory references from two referees, one of whom must be your current or last employer.Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months
