Summary

What's involved with this role:

Triumph Consultants are looking for a Temporary Accommodation Team Leader

to support the day-to-day operation of the Temporary Accommodation service, leading a team of officers and overseeing placements, casework and accommodation suitability. Contract is for 5 months in Croydon CR0 1EA.

Temporary Accommodation Team Leader

Pay Rate: £26.68-£27.81 per hour PAYE

Hours per week: 36 Monday – Friday, 8:30-17:00

Contract length: 5 months

Location: Croydon CR0 1EA

Hybrid – up to 3 days per week on site

Basic DBS required following successful interview

Immediate requirement for an experienced housing professional

Key requirements

Strong experience within local government temporary accommodation services

Good knowledge of homelessness legislation and statutory housing duties

Experience managing or supervising housing officers

Ability to manage complex cases and provide sound casework guidance

Strong understanding of accommodation suitability and housing standards

Key responsibilities

Lead and manage the Temporary Accommodation team

Oversee placements, transfers, move-ons and voids

Manage complex homelessness and temporary accommodation cases

Monitor performance, KPIs, compliance and statutory deadlines

Support, develop and provide guidance to team members
