We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Vehicle Technician in Reading, Berkshire. Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

- Perform comprehensive vehicle servicing and maintenance tasks including diagnostics and warranty work

- Carry out routine jobs such as oil changes, cambelt replacements, and electronic health checks

- Complete digital job cards and accurate documentation for each vehicle serviced

- Conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) adhering to manufacturer standards

- Maintain high safety protocols and quality standards in all tasks

- Support team members with technical and customer-focused activities

Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:

- Recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent)

- Proven experience as a Vehicle Service Technician or Mechanic, with familiarity in warranty and servicing work

- Strong team player with excellent communication skills

- Knowledge of modern vehicle systems, including electric and hybrid technologies (training provided)

- MOT licence advantageous but not essential, as full training can be provided

- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous professional development
