Summary
Key Responsibilities : Help manage the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of care, safety, and education.
Deputising: Take full charge of the setting when the nursery manager is off-site or unavailable.
Staff Leadership: Mentor, coach, and support room leaders and practitioners, assisting with training and performance management.Safeguarding: Act as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) to ensure child protection policies are strictly followed.Curriculum & Compliance: Uphold the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and meet all Ofsted statutory requirements.
Parent Partnerships: Build strong, positive relationships with families, acting as a reliable point of contact.
Administration: Handle record-keeping, children's progress files, planning, and occasionally assist with billing,
