Summary

Community Learning Manager Cathays High School is seeking to appoint a full-time Community Learning Manager with an immediate start.The role will require the successful candidate to support the development of curricular and extra-curricular educational opportunities for students of Cathays High School and those of our partnership primary schools. They will also be required to develop strong and effective links with local, national and international community groups, charities, businesses, social enterprises (and other suitable organisations) to enhance the education, well-being and support of young people and their families at Cathays High School.The school requires a highly motivated, conscientious, organised individual who is able to work flexibly including some evenings and weekends. The successful candidate will be required to work effectively as part of a team and build positive working relationships with colleagues. You will lead on the development of our out of school hours learning, our school magazine The Cathays Eye and assist the Health and Wellbeing Raising Standards Leader and the SLT to ensure that we engage successfully with our local community, parents, governors and pupils. Cathays High School has outstanding systems for the professional development and support of all staff.
