Job Type: Full-timeClosing date: Wednesday 23rd September 2026 at 9amInterviews: week commencing 28th September 2026The role:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-level guidance and support to the senior leadership team and site team, ensuring that the school is compliant, maintained, and presented to meet the needs of staff, students, and visitors.Key Responsibities:Hold regular operational meetings with the Business Manager and Head of EstatesPrepare and monitor planned and preventative maintenance schedulesProvide guidance to the site teams to meet health and safety and statutory compliance requirementsEnsure that security arrangements are in placeOversee the creation of accurate inventory for the physical building assets of the schoolProject manage capital projects and advise on progressConduct performance management of site staffEnsure safe systems of work and risk assessments are in placeEnsure maintenance of water hygiene records, fire safety records, and electrical safety recordsEnsure all COSHH and Health and Safety regulations are observedEnsure that the site is clean and well-kept at all timesQualifications:Experience in Facilities ManagementExperience managing staff and third parties/contractorsKnowledge of relevant health and safety requirementsNEBOSH or IOSH qualificationGood ICT skillsValid driving licenseDesirable:Experience or understanding of working in an educational environmentQualification in Health & Safety/facilities management or similarExperience managing budgetsWhat we offer:An opportunity to be part of a well-respected, top achieving and oversubscribed secondary school Contributory salary pension scheme (local government) Access to the cycle to work schemeSupportive sick leave schemeAccess to Employee Assistance Programme- a strictly free and confidential short-term counselling and support service.About Us:Hayesfield is a unique and exciting school; it is an oversubscribed Girls’ School with a co-educational Sixth Form with accommodation over two sites.The School is truly comprehensive, serving the whole community.Ofsted have recognised our achievements in November 22, by awarding the School ‘Good’.You are very welcome to read our Ofsted report, which can be found on the website.To Apply:
