A well‑established organisation in Swansea are seeking a committed and detail‑focused Payroll Assistant to join their busy weekly payroll function. This is a permanent role, offering excellent development for someone who wants to grow their skills and take on increasing responsibility over time.

The Role

Working closely with an experienced team, you will support the accurate processing of the weekly payroll, maintain time and attendance records, manage new starters and leavers, and handle employee queries with professionalism and care. You will also assist with absence and holiday recording, and payroll administration. As the department evolves, this role will naturally expand, offering the opportunity to take on more payroll responsibility as your confidence and capability grow.

Who We're Looking For

This position is ideal for someone with some experience in payroll who is keen to develop further. You'll be detail‑oriented, organised, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment. Strong communication skills, good numeracy, and confidence with Excel and payroll/HR systems are essential. Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys learning, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a structured, process‑driven setting.
