Your new company
Your new company is a leader in their field based in Crewe and are looking for a fully qualified ACCA/ CIMA Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your new role
- Produce monthly management accounts within agreed deadlines.
- Prepare and analyse profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Lead month-end processes including accruals, prepayments, journals, and reconciliations.
- Deliver detailed variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
- Partner with operational and production teams to monitor performance and drive efficiencies.
- Analyse manufacturing costs, stock movements, labour utilisation, and overhead absorption.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities.
- Maintain and improve financial controls, processes, and reporting systems.
- Assist with year-end audit requirements and statutory reporting.
- Provide commercial insight and recommendations to support decision making across the business.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects and finance transformation initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
- CIMA/ ACCA qualified
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Good working use of Excel/ general systems usage
- Pro-solving abilities
- Proactive, organised with excellent communication skills
- Manufacturing experience desirable
