Looking for Your Next Mobile HGV Technician Opportunity?

We're recruiting for an experienced Mobile HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician to join an established commercial vehicle operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HGV Technician who enjoys working independently, diagnosing faults and keeping a commercial vehicle fleet safely on the road.

A company van can be provided, giving you the flexibility to attend vehicles and carry out repairs both on-site and at the roadside when required.

The Role

You will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, diagnosis and repair of HGVs and commercial vehicles.

Duties will include:

·HGV servicing, maintenance and repairs

·Fault finding and diagnostics

·Routine preventative maintenance

·Brake, suspension and general mechanical repairs

·Preparing vehicles for MOT

·Attending breakdowns and carrying out roadside repairs

·Identifying defects and ensuring vehicles are repaired safely and efficiently

·Completing accurate maintenance and repair documentation

·Working closely with transport and operations teams to minimise vehicle downtime

About You

We're looking for an experienced HGV Technician / Mechanic with:

·Minimum 3 years' HGV Technician experience

·Relevant HGV / mechanical qualification such as NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent

·Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

·Good knowledge of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair

·Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

·Full UK Driving Licence

·Reliable, professional and safety-focused approach

·Pride in delivering a high standard of workmanship
