Summary

Our client based in LE7, is one of the UK's largest independent suppliers of vehicle seats looking for an experienced Office Assistant to join their friendly and welcoming team on a maternity cover contract, the ideal candidate should be able to drive to site as their is no public transport route. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company that offers a supportive working environment and a great team atmosphere.

Hours & Pay

  • £13.50 per hour

  • 37.5 hours per week

  • The first two weeks will be training at 26.5 hours per week

  • Full-time hours of 37.5 hours per week thereafter

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a key point of contact for internal and external communications, including emails, telephone calls and post.

  • Deal professionally with client queries and complaints, ensuring these are appropriately handled or escalated to relevant management.

  • Act as the main point of contact for commercial and military dispatches, keeping clients and relevant teams updated on weekly dispatches and returns.

  • Organise import and export shipments for suppliers bringing goods into the facility.

  • Rename, match and process delivery notes and invoices.

  • Prepare clock-in cards, accurately calculating total hours worked.

  • Provide general administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office
