Summary
A lovely family based in Stratford, London, is looking for a warm, reliable, and experienced Afterschool Nanny to care for their school-age child. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of childcare experience and be confident supporting a school-aged child with their daily routine. Someone caring, engaging, and proactive would be ideal for this role. The nanny will be responsible for school-age childcare, including supporting the child's safety, well-being, and development, organising age-appropriate activities, helping with homework, and maintaining a consistent routine. The role will also include preparing meals and keeping the child's areas clean and organised.
A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, approximately 3:00/3:30 PM to 7:00/7:30 PM, for around 15 hours per week.
Duties include:
ensuring the child's safety, well-being, and development
supporting the child's daily routine
organising interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings
helping with homework and educational activities
reading with the child and encouraging early literacy
bathing and maintaining the child's hygiene
preparing nutritious meals and snacks
keeping the child's bedroom and play areas clean and organised
