Summary

PVS Nottingham | £19.00 per hour

We're looking for a qualified MOT Tester to join our busy independent garage in Nottingham.

This could be a great role if you're an experienced MOT Tester who wants regular hours, a steady flow of MOTs and the flexibility to have your afternoons to yourself.

You'll typically carry out around 5–6 MOTs during a morning, working independently and efficiently while maintaining the high standards we'd expect from PVS.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is reliable and knows their MOTs inside out.

The role

- Carrying out MOT tests in line with DVSA standards

- Completing around 5-6 MOTs during a typical morning

- Identifying and accurately recording defects

- Carrying out MOT retests where required

- Ensuring all testing is completed thoroughly and professionally

- Keeping your MOT bay and equipment clean, safe and organised

- Working alongside our workshop team to ensure customers' vehicles are dealt with efficiently and professionally

The hours

We're flexible about the exact working pattern for the right person.

We're ideally looking for someone who can work 3-5 mornings a week, with the possibility of finishing around lunchtime.

If you'd prefer to work additional hours and have the mechanical experience to get involved with servicing and repairs, we're happy to discuss that too.

About you

You'll need to:

- Hold a current MOT Tester qualification

- Have previous experience carrying out MOTs

- Be confident working independently

- Work efficiently without compromising on safety or quality

- Have excellent attention to detail

- Be reliable and punctual

- Take pride in your work

- Be a good communicator and team player
