We are seeking an motivated Clinical/Counselling Psychologist or Psychotherapistto join our team at Band 7. If you are passionate about making a meaningful difference in people's lives we would love to hear from you.

Our team consists of Clinical Psychologists, Psychotherapists, and Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner (MHWP) providing evidence-based psychological care. We work in close partnership with the widermultidisciplinary team, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our clients, their families, carers, and wider support networks.

We are proud to provide a broad range of specialist psychological therapies, including:

• Mentalisation-Based Treatment (MBT)

• Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT)

• EMDR

• Art Psychotherapy

• Systemic Family Therapy

• Couples Therapy

• CBT

We are committed to providing excellent supervision.

• Weekly team-based supervision alternating with reflective practice and peer supervision.

• External group supervision monthly.

• A collaborative culture where learning and curiosity are actively encouraged.

• Strong peer support from experienced psychological therapy professionals

You will have the opportunity to be involved in providing assessment and treatment (individual and group), participating in multidisciplinary staff development and supervision, enhancing the provision of psychological therapies for adult mental health, especially for client and their families impacted by complex emotional difficulties, and severe and enduring mental illness including psychosis.

As a key member of the team, you will provide psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention for adults experiencing a range of complex mental health difficulties. You will have opportunities to contribute to service development, consultation, teaching, and the continued growth of psychologically informed practice across the service.

The post holders will be based at Albion Place Psychological Therapies service which includes psychological clinicians of several disciplines.

The West Psychological Therapies service works closely and in collaboration with the Community Mental Health team as integrated services to provide a comprehensive service to adults with complex and longstanding mental health conditions and emotional difficulties.

Psychologist Requirements:

HCPC-registered Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (or BPS accredited)

Psychotherapist Requirements:

Master’s-level (or equivalent) training in a recognised psychotherapeutic modality

Full accreditation/registration with UKCP, BABCP, BPC, or BACP (Level C)

Core profession registration and specialist clinical training
