Summary

To participate in the delivery of Music Therapy under the guidance of a specialist band 7 Arts Therapist and the Lead Arts Therapist by managing a caseload of clients. To maintain professional standards in accordance with the relevant professional body BAMT and the professional regulator (Health and Care Professions Council) To participate in audit, service evaluation and research activities when required To participate in the delivery of Music Therapy under the guidance of specialist band 7 Arts Therapist and the Lead Arts Therapist by managing a caseload of clients. The post holder will demonstrate specialist knowledge and skills and have undertaken appropriate post registration training. To be proficient in the assessment, identification, treatment and management of the emotional and psychological needs of the population requiring prolonged, in-depth concentration. This includes risk assessment, assessment of complex conditions. To frequently communicate and receive highly complex sensitive information with young people; who have experienced trauma/abuse /highly complex needs; their relatives/carers and other professionals. To have the specialist knowledge / skill to apply psychodynamic formulations and theory to work with individuals, groups and organizations.
