Summary
About the Role
We are seeking skilled and reliable Painters & Decorators to join construction teams across Bristol and Bath. This role involves carrying out internal and external painting works on residential, commercial, and refurbishment projects, ensuring a high standard of finish and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by sanding, filling, stripping, and cleaning as required.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, woodwork, and external surfaces.
- Carry out internal and external decorating works to a high standard.
- Ensure all painting works are completed in line with project specifications.
- Protect surrounding areas and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
- Use hand tools, rollers, brushes, and spray equipment safely and effectively.
- Comply with all site health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and surface preparation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Own tools and PPE
- Valid CSCS card (preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
