Summary

CIS Security?have an exciting opportunity available for a Security Officer?who will be an ambassador to represent CIS Security and will demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users. You will provide clear communication and operational professionalism in the fields of incident management and response within a large public park lands and will be based solely in external areas in all Environmental conditions.Information:Position: Security OfficerLocation: East LondonSalary: £15.47 per hourHours: Average 42 hours per weekShifts: 4 On 4 Off - Days & Nights (0800-2000 & 2000-0800 / 0830-2030 & 2030-0830)Job Requirements:SIA Door Supervisor Licence requiredSIA CCTV Licence desirableCustomer service experience is requiredSecurity experience desirableMust have good command of English languageGood levels of customer service, communication both written & verbalFlexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.Maintains working knowledge of the locations & security & safety for assigned areasFlexible in the approach to daily dutiesFirst Aid qualification & a CCTV SIA Licence is a bonusMust have five years of checkable work history Be confident you can undertake 100% of all specific duties. Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information?requested.Job Duties & Responsibilities:Liaison and assistance of visitors to the park (Customer Service).Incident control and Response across all common, public and venue areas of the QEOPManage Health safety & welfare of all on park land.Manage incidents that affect QEOP Operations.Manage QEOP buildings and public space security and safety.Reporting and monitoring incidents within the park.Maintaining contact with the Security Control Room.Crowd Management and providing solutions.Parking Enforcement.Access control dutiesTo carry out patrol duties on vehicular, foot or other mains available over wide areas.Ensure all duties are carried out correctly.Ensure all incidents are logged and managed effectively through to completion.Ensure all Life safety equipment and any other equipment used by the Security team is in working order and ready to be used when required.Complete weekly and monthly audits.Assisting the general public and those that visit the QEOP with any queries, problems or issues.Ensure enforcement with park rules, by-laws and Parking Enforcement.Engaging and managing contractor access to the Park.Ensure standards of dress, safety and presentation are maintained within the QEOP at all timesShow and initiate initiative where possible.To adapt to any incident within the QEOP in a professional manner and manage it accordinglyProvide a visual deterrent to criminality, gang activity and anti-social behaviour.Incident response.Must be able to Read, understand and follow all site related processes and procedures as laid down in Assignment Instructions, Post Instructions and any other form of communication that relates to an instruction.Any other reasonable request from the Management team.Benefits:Health care plan (HSF)Perk Box (HSF) - discounts & offers from cinema tickets to days outCycle to work schemeTailored Site UniformFirst class training allowing you to develop your skillsA view for career developmentLong service & Employee Recognition awardsAnd much more!!A globally recognised Security Solutions Specialist delivering service excellence, to our Customers, Colleagues, and Communities.
