ON-DEMAND LINGUISTICS is a UK-based language service provider delivering professional interpreting and translation services to organisations across healthcare, local government, social care, education, legal, housing, and private sectors.

The Opportunity

We are currently expanding our network of freelance interpreters and translators to support growing demand across the Greater Manchester area and accross the whole of the UK.

We welcome applications from speakers of all languages and dialects, particularly those where demand is currently high.

Assignments may include:

• Face-to-face interpreting

• Video remote interpreting

• Telephone interpreting

• Document translation

• Community-based appointments

• Healthcare appointments

• Social care meetings

• Education settings

• Housing and public sector appointments

Responsibilities

• Facilitate accurate and impartial communication between parties.

• Maintain confidentiality at all times.

• Adhere to professional interpreting standards and codes of conduct.

• Arrive punctually and prepared for assignments.

• Accurately convey information without omission or alteration.

• Maintain professional boundaries throughout assignments.
