SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Bishop's Stortford

We are looking for a dynamic individual to support the needs of an individual student with severe social & communication difficulties and challenging behavior, helping them develop essential skills for a more independent future.

The Role

You will offer behavioural guidance, supporting through moments of anxiety and frustration with a calm, patient approach. You will support the student with literacy, numeracy, and other classwork, assisting the class teacher with maintaining a calm, purposeful environment.

What You'll Need

The emotional and physical resilience to meet the demands of working in a 1-1 situation

Strong literacy and numeracy skills.

A "can-do" attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team.
