Summary

Horbury Academy are seeking to appoint a dedicated and reliable Cleaning Assistant to support our established Cleaning Team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in creating a positive environment that supports teaching, learning, and the wellbeing of all members of the Academy community.

The postholder will work under the direction of the Cleaning Supervisor to ensure that high standards of cleanliness are consistently achieved throughout the school premises. Duties will include maintaining cleanliness of equipment, classrooms, corridors, changing rooms, toilet facilities and other designated areas. The role also involves operating equipment safely and effectively, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of routine resources and materials, and undertaking basic record keeping as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor.

We have shift patterns available, and candidates are able to apply for one or all of the following:

Morning Shift: 6.30am to 8.30am

Lunchtime Shift: 2.15pm to 3.00pm

Evening Shift: 3.15pm – 6.00pm
