The Opportunity
This post represents an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join a team of staff in Keele University’s Doctoral Academy. The KDA acts as a bridge between central and Faculty support functions; providing research students and staff with opportunities to connect across the University by organising research focused training and events. The team are also responsible for reviewing, monitoring, and developing the systems and processes used by (and for) postgraduate researchers and staff.
The post holder will work as part of a team of Postgraduate Research (PGR) Administrators. To provide administrative support to the KDA Manager and Faculty Postgraduate Research Directors by maintaining Postgraduate research student records, responding to Postgraduate research enquiries, and ensuring that University process is followed in relation to the Postgraduate research lifecycle.
It is essential the post holder has excellent IT skills and the ability to work independently and to prioritise a varied workload. The role holder should also have experience organising meetings and undertaking all associated administration, as well as experience in generating reports and handling data.
