We're looking for an Multi Skilled Shift Electrical Engineer who can deliver a safe, compliant, and efficient electrical maintenance service across a busy operational government site, ensuring minimal disruption to critical operations and full compliance with statutory requirements.
Role Responsibilities:
-Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in line with SFG20, statutory requirements, and contractual obligations.
-Complete reactive maintenance tasks, fault finding, and repairs across LV distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, power systems, and controls.
-Ensure all electrical systems are maintained in a safe, compliant, and fully operational condition.
-Support statutory inspections and work in accordance with Health & Safety procedures, permits, and safe systems of work.
-Update CAFM systems with detailed job notes, completion evidence, and status updates whilst highlighting risks, non-compliance, and recurring issues.
Required Qualifications:Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.
-Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
-18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
-Experience delivering PPM and reactive maintenance within a commercial or public sector environment.
-Completed a recognised time-served apprenticeship.
-Experience working with CAFM systems.
