Summary

Working with our medicines management team, you’ll help colleagues use medicines safely and effectively, improving care for patients across our services. You’ll provide trusted technical advice, support service improvements and help reduce medicines-related problems. 

You’ll work with clinical teams, patients, carers and partner organisations. Your contribution will support safe transfers of care and consistent medicines management practice.

What you’ll do:

• Provide clear medicines advice to healthcare teams, patients and carers

• Deliver training and create helpful information for colleagues

• Complete audits and recommend practical improvements

• Develop policies, guidelines and standard operating procedures

• Manage your workload while working closely with pharmacists and wider teams

What we’re looking for:

• A qualified Pharmacy Technician registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council

• Sound knowledge of medicines, relevant law and safe handling practice

• Experience of dispensing, audit work and supporting change within a team

• Strong communication, organisation and analytical skills

• A commitment to professional development and safe, person-centred care
