BGEN is one of the UK's largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with over 100 years of industry experience. We support clients in the Water, Power & Energy, Pharmaceutical, Nuclear and Food and Beverage industries to deliver next generation, value-added engineering solutions.
What you'll be doing?
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Junior Project Controls Analyst to join the project controls team. This is a process-driven role focused on extracting, processing, and maintaining large volumes of project data to support delay tracking, cost recovery, and reporting. You’ll work closely with the Project Control Lead, following established procedures and building your understanding of project controls methodology along the way.
Detail-oriented project support professional responsible for extracting, cleaning, and processing large datasets from project systems on a daily basis. Maintains accurate trackers, logs, and dashboards to ensure reliable project reporting. Supports delay tracking and cost recovery activities through data collection, validation, and analysis. Adheres to established processes and templates while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Works closely with project team members to resolve missing or unclear information and ensure data completeness. Produces routine reports for stakeholders and identifies, investigates, and escalates data anomalies or inconsistencies to support effective project decision-making and performance monitoring.
You will bring:
- Strong Excel skills (essential)
- Highly organised, methodical, and comfortable with repetitive, process-driven work
- Confident and proactive in speaking with wider team members to gather or clarify missing information and data
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Previous experience in a data processing, PMO, project controls, or similar administrative/analytical role desirable
