An industry-leading commercial vehicle fleet operator is looking to recruit an experienced Light Commercial Vehicle Technician to join its modern workshop in Oldbury.

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a modern fleet of commercial vehicles, ensuring they remain safe, reliable and ready for customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs.

• Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults.

• Completing vehicle inspections and health checks.

• Undertaking preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.

• Ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards.

• Accurately completing workshop documentation and job records.

• Working efficiently to meet workshop targets while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

• Contributing to a safe, organised and professional workshop environment.

About You

We're looking for someone with:

·Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, LCV Technician, HGV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician.

·Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent experience).

·Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

·Good understanding of mechanical and electrical vehicle systems.

·A positive attitude with excellent attention to detail.

·The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·A full UK Driving Licence.
