Summary

Nursery Practitioner – Southwell

Up to £18 per hour

Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join friendly and supportive nursery settings in Southwell.

You will play an important role in providing high-quality care, education and support to children within a warm and nurturing environment. As a caring, enthusiastic and energetic practitioner, you will help children learn, develop and reach their full potential while making a positive difference to their everyday experiences.

Key Responsibilities

As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:

Providing high-quality care and education to children.

Supporting children's learning, development and individual needs.

Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities.

Observing, assessing and recording children's progress.

Supporting the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Creating a stimulating, safe and inclusive learning environment.

Working closely with colleagues, parents and carers.

Promoting children's wellbeing, confidence and independence.

Maintaining high standards of health, safety and safeguarding.

Required Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting.

A recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.

A genuine passion for working with children.

A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ability to work effectively as part of a team.

A commitment to supporting children's learning and development.

A good understanding of the EYFS framework.
