Summary

The must haves for this role: Qualified Occupational Therapist Health Care Professions Council Registration Good interpersonal and communication skills Car driver with access to a vehicle for daily use to travel to patients homes You will have some flexibility to plan your own diary and caseload within your working hours. The role involves visiting patients in their own homes so you will need a driving license and daily access to a vehicle to travel between patients in the West Berkshire locality, and when required to support caseload in the wider Berkshire service. You will complete solo visits as a lone worker as well as joint visits with Therapy Assistants and other professionals. The service operates Monday to Friday and working days/ hours can be discussed, taking into account your own circumstances and the need to complement other part-time staff to ensure clinical cover across the week. There is opportunity and expectation to support the wider Community Based Neuro team as required with option to see patients with other Neurological conditions within your competency, this will involve travelling to other sites and areas across Berkshire.
