If so, come and join us as an Operational Management Information Developer within the Working Age Services Directorate in the Digital Transformation Group.
The Working Age Data and Performance Team sits at the heart of DWP's Digital Transformation Group, providing the analysis, performance insight and resource planning that help drive continuous improvement across Working Age services.
Working with Operations, Digital teams and senior stakeholders, including Directors and Ministers, you will use data and insight to understand performance, identify opportunities for improvement and support evidence based decision making. You'll contribute to the development of performance measures and process indicators, test hypotheses, evaluate outcomes and help shape data driven initiatives that improve services for our customers.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high profile team where your work will directly influence how Working Age services are delivered, helping to drive efficiency, improve customer outcomes and support strategic decision making across the department.
- Produce insightful management information, analysis and visualisations using Power BI or similar tools to support operational and strategic decision making.
- Develop robust analytical products using SQL or similar programming languages, ensuring outputs are accurate, reproducible and quality assured.
- Combine and interrogate data from multiple sources to generate meaningful insights, identify trends and inform business improvements.
- Lead analytical and performance improvement projects, delivering outcomes at pace and managing competing priorities effectively.
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational performance across Universal Credit and Labour Market services.
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders, to influence decisions and deliver complex outcomes.
- Present complex data and technical findings in a clear and engaging way for non-technical audiences.
- Foster an inclusive and collaborative working environment while contributing to team objectives, efficiencies and continuous improvement.
