Mergon UK currently has an opening for: HR & Office Administrator
Hours of Work:
36.75 hour per week
8.15am – 5.00pm Monday – Thursday, with 45 minutes lunch break
8.15am – 1.00pm Friday
Scope of the Position:
Mergon UK are currently hiring an HR & Office Administrator to join the team in Blackburn.
This role will be responsible for offering all-round administration support for the Human Resources Department and the office.
This includes supporting the HR Department with a variety of generalist duties, helping and arranging staff and wellbeing activities, and general business office administration. Experience supporting full-cycle recruitment is beneficial as the role will also involve advertising roles, screening candidates, arranging interviews, and processing offers.
Whilst HR and/or recruitment experience is advantageous, we can teach you these skills. If you have experience in a fast-paced administrative role and are interested in beginning a career in HR, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generalist day-to-day HR administrative tasks such as processing joiners and leavers, taking meeting minutes, arranging meetings, conducting investigations, absence meetings and performance reviews
- Supporting full-cycle recruitment activities such as advertising vacancies, screening candidates, arranging interviews, and processing offers
- Arranging and tracking staff training and development
- Ordering catering for meetings and events and facilitating on-site events and activities
- Support the event and wellbeing programme by designing and implementing regular events for employees
- Support the HR Manager with various HR tasks as required
- Daily administration including answering telephone calls, distributing post, managing the HR shared inbox, and supporting employees with general queries
- Maintain paper and digital notice boards to communicate with employees, using tools such as Canva and PowerPoint
The above is not exhaustive. Other duties and responsibilities may be added as the employee’s immediate supervisor deems appropriate.
