Job Purpose

To design, develop and maintain software applications and digital systems that support NEXTGEN DELIVERY LIMITED’s delivery and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web-based software applications.

• Build APIs and integrate third-party logistics, mapping and payment systems.

• Develop delivery booking, scheduling and tracking functionality.

• Create internal systems to improve driver, vehicle and delivery management.

• Design and maintain databases and business systems.

• Test, debug and improve software applications.

• Implement appropriate software security and data-protection measures.

• Identify opportunities to automate and improve business processes.

• Work with management to understand business requirements and deliver suitable technical solutions.

Essential Skills

• Experience or qualification in Software Development, Computer Science or a related field.

• Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java or C#.

• Knowledge of databases, SQL, APIs and web development.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
