KS1 Primary School Teacher to work with a vibrant and successful in Bingham, NG13.

The school also benefits from excellent outdoor spaces, providing children with stimulating, first-hand learning experiences through outdoor activities and Forest School sessions.

The role

As the KS1 Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver creative lessons in line with the UK curriculum
  • Create a warm, inclusive and engaging classroom environment
  • Support pupils with different abilities and learning needs
  • Assess progress and provide helpful, age-appropriate feedback
  • Work closely with Teaching Assistants and wider school staff
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and their families
  • Follow the school’s behaviour, safeguarding and teaching policies
  • Encourage children to develop confidence, independence and curiosity
  • The successful KS1 Primary Teacher will have:

    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
    • Experience teaching the UK primary curriculum
    • Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
    • A good understanding of phonics and early learning development
    • Excellent classroom and behaviour-management skills
    • A patient, caring and adaptable approach
    • A genuine passion for helping young children succeed
    • An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
    • Two suitable professional references
