Where will you be working?

At M Group Energy, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives.

We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.

This role is within our Electricity Transmission division. We design, build and commission substations at voltages up to and including 400kV. Our teams construct and maintain transmission lines and substations, ensuring the efficient and reliable delivery of electricity.

What will you be doing

- Maintain and continuously improve the SHEQ Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.

- Develop, manage and control policies, procedures and documentation to support safe, efficient and consistent operations.

- Coordinate internal and external audits, certifications and assurance activities, driving compliance and continual improvement.

- Analyse SHEQ performance data, identify trends and implement actions to reduce risk and improve outcomes.

- Support regulatory compliance, governance requirements and the effective management of non-conformances.

- Provide SHEQ expertise and guidance to stakeholders, promoting best practice across the business.

- Support business growth through bid submissions, due diligence activities and management of corporate information.

- Champion a positive safety culture, embedding lessons learned and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

- Lead, coach and support team members to achieve high performance, development and wellbeing goals.

What you’ll bring

- Relevant qualification in Safety, Quality or a related discipline.

- Lead Auditor qualification in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001.

- Experience of quality management systems, governance, compliance and root cause investigation.

- Strong document control and SharePoint experience.

- Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).

- Full UK driving licence

- Lean Six Sigma, NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification/membership.

- Experience implementing and improving management systems and document control processes.

- Extensive experience delivering assurance, audit and compliance programmes.

- Strong stakeholder management, coaching and influencing skills.

- Good working knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation and regulatory requirements.
