Summary

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester to join a busy automotive service centre and tyre retailer in Swansea.

Our client, a prominent UK-wide tyre retailer with multiple centres, is seeking a dedicated Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester to join their team. This role offers a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and the chance to develop your career within a dynamic and expanding organisation.

- Starting salary between £32,500-£35,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience

- Monthly performance-related bonuses, approximately £3,600 annually

Duties:

- Carrying out MOT tests on customer vehicles in accordance with Ministry standards

- Diagnosing and executing repairs, servicing, and maintenance tasks

- Supporting workshop activities and ensuring high-quality work within designated timeframes

- Occasionally assisting at the front reception with customer enquiries

- Maintain vehicle safety standards and adhere to health and safety protocols

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester, either through employment or apprenticeship

- Valid MOT licence and a UK driving licence with minimal points

- Reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Swansea

- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused manner

- Ability to produce high-quality work efficiently and accurately
