Summary
We are offering flexible working and weekly pay for Waking Nights for experienced Support Workers within the rural surrounds of Burton!
If you are looking for a role where no two days are the same this role involves working with young people aged 16 and over, helping them develop essential life skills to prepare for independent living by the age of 18.
Due to many of the service users having experienced trauma in their past, we are looking for calm, patient, and empathetic individuals who can provide consistent support and encouragement. You will follow structured care plans to assist with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and engaging in activities outside the home, all while fostering a safe and supportive environment.

Don’t have a valid DBS and/or training?? Do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
To apply for this role, you must;
- Have referenceable work history
- Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (inc. moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control).
- Or if your certificates are out of date we can provide links for on-line training.
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service or the facilities to be able to pay for a new certificate.
- Have a minimum of 3 months paid UK work experience working within a care setting.

This is an ongoing position for work that has the possibility of being made permanent after a successful trial period.
You will be working as and when required to cover existing team members, with hours from 22:00 to 08:00 on varying days between Monday to Sunday.
The rate of pay for this role is:
£12.71 per hour (Mon to Fri)
£13.00 per hour (Sat and Sun)
You will also accrue up to 28 days holiday per year.
