We areseekingto appoint an outstanding,passionateand inspirational primary teacherto work within our specialist SENDunit,who has excellent subject knowledge andis able tocontribute to improvements in pupil progress.‘The Beacon’ is an SEN provision that supports children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and social communication difficulties. Working within a nurturing, small-group environment, the Beacon provides targeted academic intervention to help pupils close learning gaps, develop effective regulation strategies, and build confidence and resilience. Through intensive, personalised support, staff help children overcome barriers to learning, enabling them to achieve both academically and emotionally while preparing them for success in the wider school community.

In September 2025 we began working with Trinity Multi Academy Trust, and on 01 October 2026 will formally join the Trust. Trinity is a growing and respected trust currently comprising of 11 academies, spanning primary to post-16 education and they have a strong and proud track record of helping schools to make a lasting, positive difference in the lives of young people. It’s an exciting time to be part of St Thomas’ as we enter this new chapter.
