Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

The Morley Academy is seeking to recruit an inspirational and committed colleague for the role of Cover Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for education to support students' learning and development by providing classroom supervision in the short-term absence of teaching staff. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with the confidence to engage and motivate young people, maintain high standards of behaviour, and contribute positively to the wider life of the Academy.

Potential applicants should have:

• GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and Mathematics (or equivalent).

• Experience of working with young people and a passion for supporting their success.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• The ability to manage a classroom effectively and adapt to different situations.

• A calm, flexible and professional approach, with the enthusiasm to contribute to the wider life of the Academy.
