Summary

Quality Improvement Coordinator

Location: Dover

Hours: Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:30, Friday 08:00-13:00

Salary: £15.50 - £16.50 per hour

Contract: Temporary, up to 6-months

Are you experienced in quality, QHSE or continuous improvement and enjoy using data to identify problems and drive positive change?

We're looking for a Quality Improvement Coordinator to join the QHSE team of a well-established manufacturing business in Dover. Reporting to the Head of QHSE, you'll work closely with Department Heads and key stakeholders to improve product quality, consistency and processes across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse quality data, including first-time yield, customer care cases, warranty returns and CI tickets, to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead and support quality improvement projects.
  • Investigate non-conformances and recurring issues, using root cause analysis to identify effective corrective actions.
  • Work with stakeholders to promote quality ownership and a continuous improvement culture.
  • Support QMS processes, procedures and documentation.
  • Assist with ISO certification activities and internal QHSE audits.
  • Represent QHSE in relation to the Restrictive Substance Compliance Programme (RSCP).
  • Provide wider support to the QHSE team as required.

About You

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in quality, continuous improvement, manufacturing or QHSE.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
  • Experience working with quality management systems and/or ISO standards.
  • A good understanding of continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with complex data.
  • A proactive, practical starter-finisher approach and the ability to influence change.
