Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented IT Quality and Testing Professional to join our innovative technology team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions by designing, executing, and managing comprehensive testing strategies. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement in our software development lifecycle (SDLC), facilitate seamless integration processes, and uphold the highest standards of software quality assurance. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your analytical skills and technical prowess can make a real impact, this is the opportunity for you to energize your career and contribute to cutting-edge projects.

Responsibilities

Develop, review, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts for various testing phases including functional, system, performance, load, user acceptance (UAT), and regression testing.

Design, prepare and execute test plans, test scenarios and test cases for the SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM) mobile application supporting SAP EAM/PM processes.

Automate testing processes using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, and Jenkins to enhance efficiency and accuracy across continuous integration pipelines.

Perform functional, integration and end-to-end testing of the SAP SSAM mobile application and SAP EAM/PM business processes integrated with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC, validating work orders, notifications, operations, confirmations, time recording, materials, measurements, attachments, equipment and functional locations.

Perform root cause analysis on defects identified during testing cycles to facilitate prompt resolution and prevent recurrence.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including developers, business analysts, and system architects—to gather requirements and translate them into effective testing strategies aligned with business needs.

Conduct API testing using REST and SOAP web services; validate data integrity through JDBC connections; perform performance testing utilising LoadRunner or similar tools to ensure system robustness under load conditions.

Support release management activities by verifying software builds, coordinating deployment activities, and ensuring smooth transitions from development to production environments.

Utilize version control systems such as GitHub, GitLab, SVN, TFS, or Bitbucket to manage test scripts and documentation efficiently.

Engage in continuous improvement initiatives by integrating DevOps practices with tools like Jenkins and Azure DevOps to streamline build automation and deployment workflows.

Provide technical support during user acceptance testing (UAT), troubleshoot issues promptly using debugging techniques in Visual Studio or Eclipse environments, and document findings comprehensively.

Prepare UAT test scripts, document test results, log and track defects, verify fixes through retesting, and maintain test documentation and evidence.

Support production readiness, go-live validation and post-go-live quality assurance for the SAP SSAM mobile application
