HERE'S WHAT YOU COULD BE DOING

One day you might be supporting learning in a mainstream classroom.

The next, you could be providing 1:1 support.

Another day could see you working alongside a child or young person with additional needs.

We work with a range of schools across Gloucester, giving our TAs the opportunity to experience different settings, build their experience and find the environments where they really thrive.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOUEssential:Previous experience working with children — this can be through education, childcare, youth work, volunteering or another relevant settingA genuine interest in supporting children to learn, develop and succeedReliability and a professional attitudeThe ability to adapt quickly to different schools, classrooms and situations

Desirable:Experience working with children or young people with SEN/SENDA full UK driving licence and access to a vehicleA relevant TA, childcare or education qualification

You don't need to have years of classroom experience. What matters most is that you understand children, can build positive relationships and are prepared to get stuck in.
