We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly skilled Inclusion Consultant to join our dedicated team. Working under the direction of the Inclusion Team Leader and Headteacher, you will play a pivotal role in supporting mainstream school staff with pupils who may present with challenging behaviours, helping them to thrive within a mainstream educational setting.This is a rewarding opportunity for a professional who is passionate about inclusion, relationship-based practice, and ensuring that every child has the support they need to succeed.As an Inclusion Consultant, you will provide expert guidance and practical inclusion strategies to support pupils whose behaviour may place them at risk of exclusion. Working collaboratively with staff, families, and external agencies, you will help to develop positive behaviour approaches that promote engagement, wellbeing, and successful outcomes.Perryfields Primary Pupil Referral Unit has been judged to be outstanding by Ofsted on five consecutive occasions but is excited about making things even better for our vulnerable pupils. We are seeking to appoint a hard-working, dedicated, enthusiastic and inspirational practitioner to join our ‘Outstanding’ team.Perryfields provides provision for permanently excluded pupils, proactive behaviour courses for pupils at risk of permanent exclusion and inclusion support for 113 Primary, First and Middle schools in South Worcestershire.If you are passionate about inclusion and have the skills and determination to support young people in overcoming barriers to learning, we would love to hear from you.We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All appointments will be subject to satisfactory enhanced DBS clearance and relevant pre-employment checks.

The successful candidate will demonstrate: • High expectations and a commitment to inclusion.• Advanced subject knowledge in identifying pupils at risk of exclusion and their specific needs.• The ability to motivate and support mainstream teachers and SENCOs to implement appropriate inclusion strategies with pupils at risk of exclusion.• A growth mind-set and a desire to continue your own continued professional development, alongside the willingness to learn and be reflective in your own practice.• Ability to be flexible, adaptive and versatile in an ever-changing work environment.• Ability to be able to work as part of an effective and successful team.• Ability to be empathetic, caring and have a high level of humility.• Ability to be able to work under your own initiative, showing creativity when faced with a challenge.• A positive attitude towards work and a willingness to work hard.• A commitment to engaging in Continuous Professional Development.
