Due to consistently high demand from our partner schools, we are looking to recruit qualified Maths specialists for daily supply, short-term cover, and long-term teaching opportunities.

Your new role

As a Supply Maths Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 in some schools.

Maintain high standards of classroom management and student engagement.

Adapt quickly to different school environments and teaching requirements.

Follow lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning.

Support students in developing confidence and achievement in mathematics.

What you'll need to succeed

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Experience teaching Maths within UK secondary schools.

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Excellent subject knowledge and communication skills.

An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one through Hays.
