Summary
The post is based at Moorfields Eye Hospital City Road and include work at satellites (St. Anns, Stratford, Northwick Park, Ealing, Potters Bar). The post holder will be expected to work flexibly to facilitate service provision when colleagues are absent. The lack of many services that would be found in a general hospital means that the anaesthetic service is more than usual relied upon for perioperative patient care in adults and children. In addition to clinical duties, the new appointee would be expected to participate in departmental activities including management, teaching and audit.
