About The Role
English Language Training Services are looking to recruit a TNE tutor to join a growing transnational education programme in China.
The TNE tutor will be responsible for the delivery of English language classes in an Engineering university in China. They will also be required to work in Swansea delivering summer courses.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
Teach as a member of a small overseas teaching team within a programme of study in a variety of settings from small group /individual tutorials to larger classes.
Develop and update teaching materials, methods and approaches and implement established assessment procedures and criteria within agreed frameworks
Undertake non-teaching duties and activities which may include marketing ELTS and establishing professional relationships overseas.
Assisting with administrative duties as required in maintaining detailed records of attendance and work completed in each class.
Teach for English Language Training Services from June – September or as required
At ELTS we pride ourselves on our professional, high quality English language training, and offer a variety of EFL, EAP and ESP programmes, as well as CELTA teacher training courses. Whilst our primary concern is linguistic development, the pastoral care of our students is always at the centre of what we do, too. These posts require a contribution to teaching, student assessment and supervision within ELTS. The post requires high quality delivery of teaching and student learning and a commitment to enhancing the overall student experience.
