Summary

FM Conway is looking to recruit a Trainee Supervisor to join the Aggregate and Asphalt division based in Chelsfield. As our Trainee Supervisor you will learn how to run a busy recycling depot from the current supervisor, ordering parts, supporting a day and night team, looking after the team of engineers, allocating payment to customers and being the face of a busy depot. This is a full-time position on a 12-month contract subject to permanent employment at the end of your contract, working Monday- Friday, 07:30am-4:30pm.

The duties of the Trainee Supervisor role will include:

Quality control of materials being quick and efficient to spot a problem if one arises

Support a team across day and night shifts

Learn the role of the weighbridge

Organise payment to suppliers to ensure they are paid correctly and on time

Assist the recycling manager with duties within the depot

Organising parts with suppliers, raising po’s and organising fitting when they have arrived on site

Work closely with the team of engineers to organise maintenance across the depot

End of month reporting

What skills and experience do you need?

We are looking for candidates who are willing to learn and hold a full UK driving license. To be considered for this role it is essential that you are a team player, with good verbal and written communication skills as well as IT skills.
