Summary

Poole Healthcare Centre provides an assessment, diagnostic and treatment service at Poole Healthcare Centre, 1stFloor Boots the Chemist, Dolphin Shopping Centre, Poole.

The administration team is currently looking to recruit an administrator to work 15 hours per week. The role includes dealing with a range of telephone queries, arranging appointments, downloading referrals, post, managing patient and hospital correspondence, data inputting and problem solving whilst covering the reception. In addition to dealing with patients a key part of this role is to provide administrative support to the clinical team to enable them to run their clinics effectively.

You will need to be highly organized with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to delivering a customer focused service. This is a very busy department and you will be required to effectively manage multiple and diverse work streams.

To provide an efficient and friendly Reception and Administrative service to support the delivery of excellent patient care.

To ensure that patients and contacts with the service are dealt with in a friendly, empathetic and profession manner and to help ensure that the patient experience is positive for all. 

To assist in the provision of a comprehensive, high quality and efficient outpatient service including the management of electronic medical records.

Employment in this post requires an Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.
