Summary
We are looking for a Warehouse Bay and Courier Team Member to join Team OB in our Warehouse. The shift pattern for this role is Sunday to Thursday 8am - 4pm or Sunday to Thursday 11am - 7pm ( There will need to be some flexibility around this dependant on the needs of the business)
As a Warehouse Bay and Courier Team Member at OB you will be responsible for ensuring that all daily courier store pallets are wrapped and that all stock is correctly checked and placed on the store pallet. You will check that additional stock or internal post is collected from the store pigeonholes, IBT crates, as well as smaller delivery stock such as, cards and jewellery, and that is placed in the relevant skates and bays for each store’s delivery.
Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader, you will prepare all OB store deliveries, ensuring that they are correctly skated, lidded and ready for collecting by the drivers in the morning. For select stores, you will load pallets onto Tenens/Coll-8 trucks, so must hold a licence or be willing to be trained on a counterbalance forklift.
Our Support Office is based in Tolworth, near Chessington, only a 30-minute journey from London Waterloo.

OB Warehouse Bay and Courier Team Member will:
- Check the weights of crates and ensure that heavy crates are at the bottom of skate
- Ensure that the day’s courier pallets are wrapped sufficiently with the top sheet applied
- Place all visual merchandising, shop support and furniture items in the correct store bay for delivery
- Ensure that all Click & Collect crates are added to the correct courier pallets
- Prepare all crates for delivery and make sure that barcodes are clearly visible
- Place all skates are under the store bays to ensure that drivers are able to easily access the deliveries needed for their rote
- Ensure that all skates are properly lidded prior to collection for delivery to store
- Load the courier (Tenens, Network Pallets and MCH) pallets onto vehicles
- Challenge exclusionary behaviour and your support your team members
- Must be confident and able to work independently

What we look for:
- To hold a counterbalance licence or be willing to be trained
- Must be comfortable working with Windows and Android handheld scanners and in-house warehouse systems
- Able to work at fast pace with accuracy
- Good verbal communication with the ability to work under pressure
